| a little more than 5 weeks ago, not all apply in your case. -replaced flywheel -replaced flywheel mounting bolts -replaced rear main seal -replaced pilot bushing -replaced throw out bearing, fork, pivot ball, springs and boot -replaced transmission input shaft seal (original found damaged upon replacement) -replaced transmission mount -replaced clutch disc and pressure plate -replaced transmission fluid -replaced shifter bushings with SPL bronze units -replaced resonated SZ test pipes w/ SZ flex joint tp's and removable HiFlo cats. (big thanks Lee!) A couple of weeks prior with transmission in car: -replaced slave cylinder -replaced slave cylinder fluid line with braided unit All parts were replaced with new OEM or better parts pimped by well respected forum vendors and sponsors such as SpecialtyZ, SPL, Coz and Bernie ;) The only "technically" remanufactured part was the exchange RPS flywheel from SpecialtyZ. A few suggestions: -good time to replace O2 sensor(s) and or downpipes (which I need to do) -good time to install 1 piece drive shaft and change diff. fluid -the scissor style transmission jack is awefully helpful if you don't have one already or you have something better. Its not totally necessary but I ordered the Harbor Freight special for $60 and was grateful to have it, thanks NaZeer! -get your car up at least 16 inches, higher is better -I loosened all of my lugnuts prior to lifting the car just in case I needed to remove any tire(s). During my activities, I ended up having to remove my passenger front tire so that I could get the tranny from under the car while it was on the jack, phew! Good luck!
